1Password 7 quit unexpectedly.
I installed Mojave this morning on my working laptop and Safari + 1Password won't start up anymore
I used the latest released version of 1Password and I also installed the beta to test

solved by installing version 7.1.2 https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPM7

Unfortunately I cannot install the update either. So now I am left with an unusable application.

Welcome to the forum, @hansds! Glad to hear 7.1.2 solved this issue for you. You may wish to check out version 7.2 that's just been released (actually, 7.2.1), if you're using 1Password from our website. If you're using the Mac App Store version, you may have to wait a day or two longer, but there's more goodies in the pipe. :)

Welcome to the forum, @darley! I'm sorry for the trouble! Please make sure there are no 1Password processes running by opening Activity Monitor (found in the Utilities folder inside your Applications folder). Search on
1pass
and close anything still running. Then delete your copy of 1Password 7 for Mac (don't worry; your data won't be deleted, it's stored in your Library folder). Don't use any app cleaners or uninstallers to do this, as these programs can remove more data than we want them to. Just drag the 1Password 7 app to your Mac's Trash, delete the Trash and restart your Mac.Once you've restarted, head over to our downloads page and grab a fresh copy of the most-recent version of 1Password 7 for Mac. Install it using the package installer, and you should be set to go. :) Let me know how that works for you.

sorry still not solved, but the problem is an tool sentinelone we use at work, that's not compatible with mojave that lets crash several apps. :(

SentinelOne seems to be the cause and until they update I cannot use MANY programs. It is very unfortunate.

@darley - you too, huh? I'm sorry to hear that, and I don't think there's much I can offer to assist, as there are indeed applications which intentionally interfere with 1Password in the name of security. If you've got a corporate policy in place mandating that you use one of those, you may not be able to use 1Password traditionally (with a native application and a companion browser extension). My only suggestion to both you and @hansds is that if your 1Password data is in a 1password.com account and you're using either Chrome or Firefox and your IT department's rules allow you to install extensions, you can try using 1Password X. This is a version of 1Password that works entirely within a browser and can sometimes go where traditional 1Password cannot. I can't guarantee that it will work with SentinelOne because I'm not familiar with that particular application, but it might be worth a shot.
