Am I supposed to have two extensions in my user library folder?

These two are found in my Mojave folder: ~/Library/Safari/Extensions.

1Password-4.7.1.safariextz
1Password.safariextz

  • @blackxacto,

They're probably different versions of the legacy Safari extension. If you're running 1Password 7.2 or newer those extensions should get automatically removed by Safari as they're no longer applicable.

Sir, on my 17,1 iMac w Mojave, I’m running 1P 7.12. I update any time Apple Store says. Am I suppose to have 7.2?

  • @blackxacto,

Not yet, there was an issue submitting 7.2 to the App Store that needed to be resolved. 7.2 is now waiting for review.

@blackxacto - on behalf of rudy, you're quite welcome. And since yesterday when you asked and Rudy answered, 1Password 7 for Mac version 7.2.1 has indeed gone live in the Mac App Store -- perhaps you've already discovered this; if not, head over to the Mac App Store and grab the new version. :)
