I am syncing my primary vault via iCloud but was not able to do that with a secondary vault??
Are the files syncing or the folders? Do I have to use iCloud or Dropbox for both? I was not presented with the opportunity on my laptop to sync with iCloud like my iMac.... I'm using 6.

That is correct, iCloud sync only works with the primary vault.
Neither files nor folders are synced for iCloud sync. It stores your data in an iCloud database that doesn't have a file system representation.
If you want to sync multiple standalone vaults you will need to use Dropbox.

Thank you.... I'm seeing that as I tiptoe through syncing... I have created a folder on iCloud that I'll host my vaults and sync via Folder instead of "iCloud" as I cannot locate that file in my iCloud Drive. I believe my iCloud password and 1P pass will be enough security

You can't locate it because it doesn't exist in iCloud Drive. There are a group of services Apple calls iCloud, one of them is called CloudKit. That's the service our iCloud sync uses.
