Unable to sign into iPhone app. What is a "Sign in address"?

I have 1Password working on my Mac. But I'm having trouble with the iPhone app installation.

It is asking me for many things, but I don't know what a "Sign in address" is. Experimenting is difficult because the secret key is about 50 characters long!!

Also, I see the iPhone app is offering to scan a code. Where do I get this code?

  • Hi @K49

Do you have a 1Password subscription membership? You’ll only have a 1Password.com account, Secret Key and sign-in address if so. If you don’t, you won’t, and won’t be able to sign in that way. You’d need to select one of the other options from the welcome screen (you may have to scroll down to see them all).

    I hope that helps!

    Hi Ben,

I do have a 1Password.com account. I have the Secret Key, and Master password, but I do not know what a "sign-in address" is.

    Thanks.

In that case the sign-in address would be on your Emergency Kit which you should have printed as part of the signup process. But if you don’t have that please try my.1password.com

If that is the case (that you don’t have a printed copy of your Emergency Kit) please create one:

Get to know your Emergency Kit | 1Password

Please let me know how it turns out.

    Ben
