Partner's 1P on iOS is not showing attachments
Hello, I have a licence for 1P that I have installed on my MacOS and iOS devices - all works fine.
I installed 1P onto my partner's MacOS and iOS devices (using the same licence file) and although the MacOS 1P works fine, the iOS versions on my partner's idevices, is not showing attachments.
I've been going through posts on this forum but cannot find how to fix this.
Thank you

Hi @My1P
The first thing I’d recommend checking is how many people your license is valid for. The vast majority of licenses are only valid for use by one person. I’d also recommend checking which platform it is for. It is likely a 1Password for Mac license, since there is no such thing as a 1Password for iOS license or 1Password for Mac + iOS license. Unless using a 1Password subscription membership (e.x. 1Password Families) 1Password for Mac and the Pro features for 1Password for iOS are sold separately.
If you’d like to privately confirm any of the specifics of your purchase with us please reach out to our sales team at

Thanks!

Back in Nov 2014 I received a reply from this forum saying "...Current licensing rules say that you can use your single use license for up to six family members living in the same household. " So going with that understanding, my licence is valid for use on both our Macs.
I don't have a subscription.
Both of us have the same iOS 1P apps - but mine shows attachments, my partner's does not.
What other information do I need to provide?0 -
Understood. The Pro features for 1Password for iOS would still be a separate purchase, even considering the possible usage of your 1Password for Mac license on both Macs. I’d highly recommend taking a look at 1Password Families, which would include the Pro features, but they can also be purchased separately if you’d rather do that:
Pro features in 1Password for iOS
The Pro features are required in order to view attachments on iOS.
I hope that helps!

Thank you Ben - yes, the link certainly helped. My partner has to buy the 'pro features' version of the iOS, then we should be able to see attachments. Thank you for your response, greatly appreciated :)
