How to tell 1password that I do indeed have 2FA
1password told me that bitfinex support 2FA but I do not activate it.
I beg to differ. I logged in to bitfinex and sure enough 2FA is available.
Now, it seems that 1password doesn't know about it.
How do I let 1password knows?

I mean I do set up 2FA at bitfinex. But 1password warns me that I don't. And I don't want 1password to clutter with false warning like that. What should I do?

I believe you enter 2fa into the tag field

1PW knows (by checking a database) if 2FA is available for a site.
1PW knows if 2FA has been turned on WITHIN 1PW.
1PW does not know (and cannot, and should not) know if 2FA has been turned on by a third-party authenticator app or other methods.
If you add the tag 2FA to the login item 1PW will no longer warn you that 2FA is not turned on.

Good enough. Actually after trying to login if I mark something as 2FA and it turns out I logged in straight without the website asking for 2FA, I think 1pw should give a warning

That wouldn’t mesh with how 2FA works for many services — including the 2FA we offer for 1Password.com. With many services you’re only asked for the second factor the first time you log in from a device. A warning on every subsequent attempt seems like it would cause great annoyance with little or no benefit.
