Hi!

I just recently discovered you guys have European servers and I'd like to move there from .com. I send an email, but no reply :(

Anything you can do to help?

  • This is an issue that would need to be handled via email. We’ll be in touch via email as soon as we can. Due to a large number of requests our current response time is 3-4 week days. I apologize for the delay.

    Just curious, I live in the UK, are there any advantages to using the European servers?

    Might be slightly faster, though I doubt if that would be significant.

    Differences in privacy laws. The US government could access files on US servers, but not on EU servers. Not that it would do them any good with 1PW, as all they could get is an ecrypted blob which they can't decrypt, and AgileBits have no way of providing decryption without the master password and secret key.

    Don’t think I will bother then. I am sure the Donald is not bothered about my stuff anyway.

    I guess. But then again I want to show that I am interested in keeping my data secure. It might compel 1Password to improve european servers even further or might get competitors to introduce a similar system. I'm European, and think my data should be in Europe :)

    @Ben, thanks!
