Scan Code Problem with iPhone 7

I'm using an iPhone 7 with 11.4.1 IOS. When I attempted to set up the app on my iPhone and use the "Scan Code" option, it would not work. When I tapped that option, the scan code screen opened, but was black (not turning on the camera). I'm attaching a screen shot of what I saw.

I was able to sign in the hard way, but entering sign-in address, email, secret key and master password, but the scan code option would not work for me. Thought you'd want to know.

    If you navigate to Settings.app -> Privacy -> Camera, is 1Password disabled?

    Sure enough! Thanks.

    Suggestion: If the iPhone app can't access the camera then perhaps having a notice to that effect would be helpful?
