Apple's issue over 1Password's

Apple has their Captive site, captive.apple.com which is a real annoyance. Even if and when I store info within 1Password, cannot copy-paste the details out of 1Password into Apple's captive site. I tried to copy Apple's Personal Hotspot password in or out (mostly out) and only see "Password" but not the actual password.

This has been going on for some years now. No resolution, it seems?

@wkleem: Outside of the browser, that's correct. If you're signing into a a Wi-Fi access point in Settings, there's no way I'm aware of to access 1Password or any other extensions from there. You'd need to open 1Password, copy the password, and then paste it yourself.

Oddly and you can try iOS’s Personal Hotspot, no password that gets pasted in gets out intact. I created a Secure note, for example 14 character alpha numeric and pasted into Personal Hotspot.

What I see in Settings Personal Hotspot is the proper 14 character password. What I paste from Personal Hotspot is literally, “Password”.

Yeah that's really weird. It sort of doesn't sound intentional. Maybe worth filing a radar with Apple.

Just reporting it here @brenty although there may or may not be a solution. We’ll see!

Tried this on iPad 4 with iOS 10.3.3, same result. I am not optimistic for a solution from Apple.
