i have used this forever with no problem. I now must wade though requests to purchase membership and click on fill and copy etc. IS THIS A NEW REQUIREMENT? HAVE YOU TERMINATED MY OLD PRODUCT IN FAVOR OF ONLY GIVING ME ACCESS WITH A PURCHASED MEMBERSHIP? Can I re instate what I had that worked for so long? I sent you a request earlier and got an automated response that was not helpful. I am very disappointed so far. Please make me an raving fan again.

Did you have a licence previously, or a subscription? And did you get 1PW from the Mac App Store or direct from AgileBits?
1PW7 from the App Store is subscription only, but from AgileBits it can be either sub or one-time licence. But it needs a new licence, the licence for 1PW6 does not work.
While it is not that difficult to get a licence, you do have to read some smaller print. There are advantages to a sub, see https://support.1password.com/why-account/

@williamnorthend: If you've purchased a license for 1Password, it never expires and you can use the version you paid for indefinitely. You can find info on the new version in the announcements:
