2FA issue

Hi,
Why do I have this message displayed when 2FA is activated in my Amazon account?

    Greetings @Jean_Pierre_92,

Would I be correct is guessing that you use something other than 1Password to store the 2FA secret and generate the code, something like the Google Authenticator app maybe?

1Password knows a site supports 2FA through twofactorauth.org. What 1Password doesn't do is probe the site to determine whether or not you've activated 2FA. Instead it looks for the presence of a 2FA field in your Login item as 1Password can store and generate 2FA codes (see Use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication). You can of course use Google Authenticator app if you prefer to keep the 2FA separate from 1Password and if this is what you would prefer to do you can hide that warning by adding a tag to the item titled 2FA. That will inform 1Password to no bother you for this Login item.

    Does that help at all?
