can't connect firefox to dropbox

Hey folks,
I can't find a way to connect a new vault to my dropbox folder or a discription how to manage this.

1Password Version: X 1.12
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Windows 10 pro
Sync Type: dropbox

    Hello @DGXVL,

    The 1Password X extension only works with 1Password accounts I'm afraid, it can't connect to a vault stored in any other form. If you have standalone vaults you wish to use they will require a combination of the 1Password for Windows application with the companion extension which connects with the locally running copy of 1Password.

    Depending on your situation it may be there is some value to be had from a 1Password account. If you're curious you can learn more about them on our 1Password website and of course if you have any questions (1Password related or otherwise) we'll do our best to answer.

    Just don't install via the Firefox add-on directory, but via the 1Password Windows app (Settings > Browsers > Install 1Password Browser Extension).
