iOS 12 and Firefox issues

Every time I try to submit passwords to a website using iOS 12 password autocomplete, 1Password always suggests my Firefox account passwords. I’ve tried removing “Firefox” from the title and deleting any Firefox or Mozilla url, but it still shows up. Anyone find a workaround?

  • Hi @trifinity

Unfortunately this isn’t anything 1Password has control over. It has been filed with Mozilla:

    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1490081

Hopefully they’ll be able to find a way to address it.

Hey y'all, I wanted to add - you can work around this issue by tapping the little key icon next to the auto fill suggestion and asking to open the full 1Password Dialogue. That's a bit quicker than going to the share sheet for the 1p extension. @Ben, is there anything we as Firefox users can do (file +1s to the bug report?) to escalate this issue with Mozilla?

  • @zaksoup,

That’s a good point. As for getting the issue escallated... I’m not super familiar with Mozilla’s bug tracking processes so I’m not really in a position to advocate for influencing that.
