family upgrade cost higher than the normal price?

Hi,
if I go to the upgrade options, I can see a family plan switch would cost me $ 6.09/month, for 12 months.
I wonder why since it normally costs $4.99/month, for 12 months.

    $6.09 sounds like an after-tax price, and $4.99 sounds like a pre-tax price. Are you subject to some form of tax on this subscription?

    Oh, yes, Italian vat :)
    Anyway if I’ll upgrade someday, the personal account already paided won’t be subtracted.

    That seems to make sense then. :) If/when you do decide to upgrade to 1Password Families any remaining balance on your individual membership would be applied. You don’t just lose that money. :)
