Chrome extension not autosaving new logins

The subject line says it all – when I login to any site with a new username or password, or when I create a username or password on a new website, 1Password does not ask if I want to save as a new login.

1Password Version: 7.2.1
Extension Version: 4.7.3.90
OS Version: High Sierra 10.13.6
Sync Type: Membership (iCloud)

    Update: same issue with the Safari extension.

    Hi @bjornfloki,

    Can you check a couple of things for me please.

    1. What is the state of the preference Detect new usernames and passwords and offer to save them which can be found in the Browsers tab of 1Password's preferences.
    2. Does 1Password display the save dialog and correctly save a Login item if you use the steps detailed on our support page How to save a Login manually in your browser?

    1. Both options are ticked.
    2. Yes that works fine.

    Hi @bjornfloki,

    How would you feel about sharing an example or two with us here in our public support forum? It sounds like 1Password should be prompting so I want to see if there's anything specific about the sites that might explain what you're observing.
