Hello, trying to install 1Password 7 on MacBook Air (most current OS), keep getting message
"1 Password 7" cannot be open during installation"

I believe this is from the Apple Store.

I believe this a Mojave-related update. It has a date of Sept. 27 2018

This is an Apple-generated alert. But 1 Password is not open, there is nothing to quite and I cannot update.

Thanks for any help

@jomeara - I'm sorry for the trouble. 1Password actually IS still open. To fully quit 1Password, you must Quit 1Password 7 Completely by typing ^⌥⌘Q (or just holding down the Control and Option keys as you choose Quit from the 1Password menu). Try that -- and check to make sure there are no 1Password processes still running by looking in Activity Monitor -- and then try your update again. You will also want to quit Safari if it is open, as the Safari App Extension is now a part of the 1Password app as well. Let me know how you get on! :)
