Can't Get Chrome Extension to Work on Mac

I can't get the Chrome extension for Mac to work for some reason. I've gone through all the steps recommended in the 1PW help forums and documents, but every time I reinstall the Chrome extension I get the attached error message.

Restarting Chrome does not help, restarting my Mac does not help, reinstalling the extension does not help, and restarting the 1 PW toolbar shortcut does not help.

Please help!

    @munger - I'm sorry for the trouble! Are both 1Password and Chrome located in your main /Applications folder? If not, you'll need to have both of them there, as we're now a fully sandboxed app as of version 7.

    Yes, they are both in my main Application folder.

    Thanks for checking. The best thing to do then would be reinstall, as something is probably damaged:

    1. Remove the 1Password extension from Chrome
    2. Quit Chrome
    3. Drag Chrome to the Trash
    4. Restart your Mac
    5. Install a fresh copy of Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome/
    6. Install the 1Password desktop extension: https://support.1password.com/1password-extension/

    Let me know how it goes.
