I don’t seem to be able to find the settings on the Mac version to set autofill. Where is it?

  • @ErnieS,

    1Password doesn't AutoFill information, it always requires user interaction. Do yo mean Autosubmit?

    I am required to click on 1Password, find the login credentials with a search if they are not identified, and click on “fill.” That seems a bit arduous to me when Keychain does all of this for me automatically and instantly. What is the definition of Autosubmit?

    @ErnieS,

    If you're using it in a browser that you've already installed the browser extension it should be automatically searching for the login item for you, via the Suggested Items section. You might also try cmd-\ keyboard shortcut, which will fill your credentials into the given page for you.

    I only asked about autosubmit because some people mix autofill with autosubmit. Autosubmit isn't a thing anymore, but i wanted to make sure you were talking about actual filling and not the submitting of the form after filling it.
