Family vs personal Account
Hello, I tried to sign up on 1password.com today for a personal account (I had one previously) and because it already existed, it defaulted to a Family account (which I do not need or want). When I try and convert the Family account to a personal account on the dashboard it fails to do so, obviously stating a personal account already exists. How do I cancel the "family" trial subscription and subscribe to a "personal" subscription, I do not have the secret key from the previous personal subscription. Thank you. -J.

We can help you delete the old personal account if you wanted to start a new one. Please contact our support team using the form here: https://support.1password.com/contact/
You can include a link to this thread to provide context to the ticket. Let them know that you want to delete your older personal account. They will confirm with you, then send out an account deletion email, which you can use tot delete the old account.
Please reply here with the Ticket ID once it's created so we can keep track of it's progress.
