1Password 7.1.2 (70102000) claims it's the latest version on my macOS 10.12.6 system.

This is quite odd since 1Password 7.2.2 is out and supports 10.12.6.

What's up with that?

  • @ccstone,

7.2.2 has a hard requirement for its Safari extension of the Safari 12 release that happened alongside Mojave's release. As a result of that we decided to delay the release of 7.2 for 10.12 and 10.13 to give people time to naturally update to Safari 12 or upgrade to Mojave rather than push an update that would potentially force them to update other software that isn't necessarily compatible with Safari 12.

We're still monitoring the progress Safari 12 adoption has and will hopefully be removing that restriction in the near future.

You can definitely manually update to 7.2.2 or the 7.2.3 betas if you'd like, if you use Safari you'll want to make sure you're on at least Safari 12 (Apple has since released updates and are now up to 12.0.1).

    Hey Rudy,

I have Safari 12.0.1 (12606.2.104.1.2) on my system and have been using v12.x since came out.

    I suppose I'll manually update.

    Thanks.

@ccstone - sounds good! I think you'll enjoy the improved compatibility and filling logic. Let us know if you run into any issues. :)
