Save explicitly unchecked checkboxes in form fields

Certain login forms have checkboxes that are checked by default, but I would like to have them automatically unchecked. On 1fichier's login page, if I uncheck the "Purge all old sessions" ('purge') checkbox, its value is not saved at all, only the checked "Long term sessions" ('lt') checkbox is saved in form details.
