I have a few 1password entries with the 'wrong' category assigned - how do I change the category of an entry, eg from 'Logins' to 'Reward Programs'

1Password does not provide the ability to change an Item's category from one to another (with the exception of Password --> Login).

You'll have to create a new entry with the desired category, and then Copy / Paste the fields. These might help you:

Indeed, you'd need to create a new item. The templates (and functions) can differ substantially.
