For logins that have multiple websites, autofill redirects the browser to the first entry.

At work there are several websites that use PAM-LDAP for authentication. Since this is the same set of credentials I edited the login entry in 1password to have multiple website URLs.

The chrome extension correctly identifies the login entry, but when I click on the tile it redirects me to the first website URL.

Obviously I can create separate logins for each of these sites, but then I get nervous because 1password informs me that I'm reusing passwords. Which is fine except that it could lead to masking a real instance of a shared password across multiple domains.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello @dkopelove,

There is a bug in 1Password 7 for Windows and one we still need to correct and it sounds like the one you're experiencing. Looking at the report though it seems to quite specific and I wonder if you could let me know if it does seem to apply to you. Supposedly everything should work if the URLs look like this:

    1. https://example1.com
    2. https://example2.com

    but if they look like:

    1. https://example1
    2. https://example2

Things start to misbehave and the second is I'm told quite common for intranets which I'm suspecting you're using. I believe the same applies if it's described as an IP address e.g. https://23.53.93.23. If that applies then it is this bug you're suffering from and while I can say it is reported it is something still to be fixed. Does it look like this is the bug?

    Hi @littlebobbytables,

Oh, ha! I never thought to try the FQDN. I was using the server short name and relying on DNS settings to get me to the right server. I have updated the URLs and as you expected it now works correct.

Honestly, I'm fine with this solution. That said, if you want someone to field test the fix whenever it's released, I'm happy to try it out.

    Thanks for your response!

    Hi @dkopelove,

It's a daft bug that we need fixed but thankfully we've got people within the team who can test to make sure any proposed fix really will fix things. In fact there was a proposed fix but the filed issue was re-opened after internal testing. I am happy to learn that at least for you that once armed with the details a small adjustment managed to sidestep the problem. I hadn't anticipated that so it's a welcome piece of news

Hi @littlebobbytables I think I'm running into this same bug. Would you expect it to happen when I have a password item for two URLs and one is localhost, the other is the staging environment? (e.g. https://localhost:3000 and https://dev.mycompany.com )

If so, do you have any ETA when you think it might be fixed?

I noticed if I press the back button in my browser while it's redirecting it will go back to the localhost site and auto-fill the login.

Sadly at the moment I have nothing new to report @abryzak :( The bug is considered high priority but we've not made any progress yet. I can only hope soon.
