WLAN: 1Password 7.2.2 (iPhone) doesn't finish sync with 1Password 6.8.8 (Mac)

I sync my iPhone (iOS 12.1, 1password 7.2.2) to my Mac (OS 10.14.1, 1password 6.8.8) using WLAN. My iPhone and Mac login items sync up but the "Last Sync" status says Never Synced. That is, Syncing never seems to stop.
