What is the difference between Secure Notes and Fields/Values on login entries?

I am trying to determine what to use for what?
Would saving something as a secure note offer better protection from saving it as a field/value on a login entry?
Is it just for categorisation purposes?
For example, let's say I have an account on Mega.nz and have a login entry with my credentials.
Mega has also given me a secure key for resetting my account, and some other stuff.
Would it make a difference If I save that secure key in a secure note where I have other secure keys as well (e.g. 1Passwors, AWS, etc) or save it as an extra section with label/field (password type or text type)

    Hi there @PhoenixRe,

There isn’t much of a practical difference. Secure Notes are simply separate items versus the notes field of an item is part of that item. It’s all contained within your 1Password vault so it is all secure.
