I have a Mac App Store individual subscription that I'd like to convert to a Family plan

The App Store suggests that I can do this through the app that I downloaded from there (v7 - it shows the annual subscription as an in-app purchase option), but there appears to be no option for that in the app. I emailed AgileBits support and got this support ID: [#MWS-45326-792]. It seems from forum posts here that it's possible to do this but I can't find the steps to follow to achieve that. Any help with this would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance...
