1Password version 6 in a version 7 world
I have a really old Macbook and I was having problems with Safari. Eventually I ended up reinstalling the operating system using the command-R recovery. Once it finished, Safari worked okay, but the 1Password browser extension was nowhere to be found. Is there a way I can get it back? The agilebits site appears to only support version 7.
Additionally, when I use the 1Password app (not the browser extension) it doesn't work. Now it goes the the URL and enters the user ID, but not the password.
Do I need to download and install 1Password version 6? I found the "old versions" page but I have no idea which version I need. All my current version information is listed below. Safari is 8.0.8.
Thanks
Russ

Hi @RussJones,
If you are indeed stuck on macOS 10.10 you would need to download and install 1Password 6 for Mac as well as the older Safari extension:
https://safari-extensions.apple.com/details/?id=com.agilebits.onepassword4-safari-2BUA8C4S2C
Apple has depricated the Safari Extension Gallery, and further submissions will not be accepted after this month, so how much longer that setup will be sustainable is unclear. We would always recommend running the latest versions of macOS, your web browser, and 1Password.
I hope that helps!
Ben
