1password 6 on new iOS 12.x device

I have 1Password 6 on a few macs, and 1Password on an iPhone and two iPads that I've had for a few years. Recently I bought a brand new iPad, went to the (iOS) App Store and it knew that I had 1Password on my other iOS devices. So it let me download it. But what it gave me is apparently 1Password 7, and there seems to be no way to sync this new iPad with my Macs via WLAN. Is this ability simply gone?

    It's there. On the welcome screen scroll down. :) That said, there are better options available now.

    Hah! I did try to scroll down, and nothing happened. I now realize I had been scrolling the gray [background] area, and I see that scrolling works much better when I try it inside the "Welcome" window!
