Does Watchtower check SSNs (Social Security Numbers)?
I recently learned there are places on the web (dark web?) where people can buy and sell stolen social security numbers (matched with the owner's name). Does Watchtower check for stolen/bought SSNs?
I currently store my family's SSNs in a secure note because it's simpler to have them all in one place. But if Watchtower automatically checks Social Security Number items, I'll create entries that way.

It's a good question. Watchtower does not check Social Security Numbers, as we do not have access to that data, just password dumps that have been made public and searchable by security researcher Troy Hunt's haveibeenpwnd.com service. Many consumer credit agencies offer that service for free though, and it's also often available as a benefit with bank and insurance firms.
