How do I retrieve a recently generated password (I think there was a UX for this at one point)?
I generated a wordpress admin password during a site setup process using the safari extension. Now I am trying to find the one I created previously so I can login. How I can find a password that was just generated a few minutes ago? I seem to recall there was a way to browse recently generated passwords but I don't see it in the UX anymore...

Not knowing on what platform you are using 1PW makes answering difficult.
But the password should have been saved in the Passwords section (in fact, that's what it's for). And on a Mac in the main 1PW application you can sort by date.

Hi @lrreynolds!
@danco is spot on, any generated password will end up as a Password item. If it was generated while on a website, the Password item will have the name of the site in the title.

Thanks guys I was on a Mac and did find it in the passwords list but I could have sworn there was a generated password history UX at some point and was confused when I couldn't find it again

Greetings @lrreynolds,
In 1Password 6 I do believe there was a submenu to the Password Generator which would list the matching Password items but that feature wasn't translated directly in the 1Password 7 redesign. That's separate from the individual password history each Login item has which is updated when you modify the stored password.
So depending on your viewpoint we've elevated the Password Generator history as those items now appear in the Suggested Items section alongside Login items but it may not be obvious if you're used to the old interface. I hope that was of some use, if you still have questions about the Password Generator please do let us know.
