Seriously? Still no 1Password 4 for Windows?
It's been 9 months since 1Password4 was released for the Mac.
Where the hell is the Windows version? This is absolutely absurd.

Absolutely unbelievable. It's been 5 months since I last had to face this issue. Now, install a new computer and Agilebits has STILL yet to update 1password on Windows to a reasonable version. Still getting this trash : http://imgur.com/LFGh4GA
How is this even remotely acceptable?

Please follow the steps in that screen shot and then re-install the version 3 extension, or sign up for the beta (the latter does support the version 4 extension). Thanks!

Where do I get the version 3 extension for chrome?
I must have accidentally upgraded to v4 extension, because I'm getting that same error on one of my computers.Cheers

@GuyJam, in any version of 1Password for Windows, the sure way to get the compatible extension is to click on the Preferences tool, select the Browsers tab, and click on the "install..." button for the browser in which you want to enable the 1Password extension. On the page that appears, click on the Enable Betas link, and then click on the Install button.

@ClockParadox these things take time, man. Can you imagine how much work it is to develop a native app on several platforms simultaneously?

@naomik no, @ClockParadox doesn't understand what's involved in simultaneous native app development, which is exactly why he's posting here. @DBrown I wasn't aware of the beta - I just installed it. Thanks for the info. Very cool.

We understand folks' frustration at the lag between 4.x releases on the various platforms, and we embrace the passion @ClockParadox feels for the new look of 1Password for Mac. We love it, too!
We trust that @ClockParadox and anyone else who's tired of waiting has by now moved over to the 1Password 4 for Windows beta program, and we hope they'll like the direction in which we're headed.
Thanks again to everyone for understanding that we're a small team working as hard as we can to get a lot of work done, simultaneously, on multiple platforms!
