Firefox browser extension - show "title" (not login ID)

The Firefox browser extension used to show the "title" field of saved logins. Now it has changed and shows the username that will be filled in. This is massively unhelpful, since I have many sites that require an email as the username.

I cannot find a setting anywhere that will let me change this back. What changed, and how can I change it back?
