Do I have to buy 1password a second time for an IOS8 Device?

After upgrading to Yosemite, I am planning on purchasing 1Password 5 from the Apple Store so that I can use iCloud to keep the passwords on my two Macs synced. I am also planning to purchase an IOS8 iPhone in the near future and would like to install 1password on that device as well. I have a simple question. Do I need to purchase, yet again, 1password 5 for my IOS8 device? Or is the Apple Store smart enough to know that I have already purchased 1password for my Mac and then let me download the IOS8 for no additional cost?

The licenses for iOS and OS X are separate and must be purchased separately. They are issued a on a per-user, per-platform basis. So to be brief, you will need to purchase a license on each separately.

If you have already bought one or both, that may be different, depending on when you did so.
