I am using the 1Password Version 5.3 (530029) Mac App Store
I am using 1Password Version 5.4.3 (504301) for iPhone

On MAC

  1. 1Password iCloud sync was working fine.
  2. I was using iCloud (account lets say named Johnny appleseed)
  3. next changed sync to dropbox
  4. manually synced

On iPhone

  1. I restored my iPhone to 8.3
  2. logged into iCloud account Jack Beanstalk
  3. I downloaded 1Password Version 5.4.3 (504301)

On MAC

  1. Logged out of iCloud account Johnny Appleseed
  2. Logged into iCloud account Jack Beanstalk
  3. Changed sync in 1Password from Dropbox to iCloud Sync
  4. Get error message "iCloud is not available. Please enable iCloud to continue."

On iPhone

  1. Told 1Password to sync using iCloud
  2. Get error message "Failed to fetch some record zones. 1Password encountered a problem."

I see there are lots of this type of questions recently. Im sure we would love to get solutions. Any help is appreciated. I switched over from RoboForm which was a huge step. I never regretted it until now. I'm sure you will provide a solution soon. Please let me know how to proceed.

Thank you,

Chris Wagers

    OK fixed my issue myself.

    On iPhone

    1. logged out of Jack Beanstalk iCloud account
    2. logged into Johnny Appleseed iCloud account
    3. told 1Password to sync using iCloud and hit sync now
    4. sync completed successfully
    5. logged out of Johnny Appleseed iCloud account
    6. Logged into Jack Beanstalk iCloud account
    7. told 1Password to sync using iCloud
    8. sync completed successfully

    On MAC

    1. logged out of Jack Beanstalk iCloud account
    2. logged into Johnny Appleseed iCloud account
    3. chose iCloud sync in 1Password
    4. sync completed successfully
    5. logged into Jack Beanstalk iCloud account
    6. chose iCloud sync in 1Password
    7. sync completed successfully

Maybe this will help someone else with this issue. In my case I deleted 1Password documents in iCloud storage. Thats when the things went awry. Oh well glad I got it fixed sooner rather than later.

    Thank you,

    Chris Wagers

    Hi @chris12923,

It sounds like something get messed up with the changing around of the different Apple IDs in iCloud. I'm glad you got it resolved.
