What do I need to have 1 Password for both? Is this cost yearly or one time purchase? How will 1 password know if using Dropbox or I cloud. Do you suggest a preference. Much easier if I can have someone to talk to. Almost afraid to purchase! [MikeT: Removed personal data]

    Hi @Stitch871,

What do I need to have 1 Password for both?

Right off the bat, you do not have to buy 1Password. We do have 30-day trials you can try without any restrictions to see if 1Password works for you, you can find the download here: http://agilebits.com/downloads

1Password for iOS starts out free with an option to purchase the Pro package, which is an in-app purchase for 10$. You can find out more information about what's included in the Pro package here: https://support.1password.com/pro-features-faq/

If you like 1Password, you can purchase the license for the Windows version at our store here: http://agilebits.com/downloads and the Pro package, you can do that within the 1Password for iOS app.

Is this cost yearly or one time purchase?

It is a one-time fee for the major version you buy, you get free minor updates for that version. You'll also get a discount for upgrading your versions in the future if we release major new versions but you don't have to do that. You can find out more here: https://support.1password.com/license-requirements/win.html

For the Windows license, you can use 1Password on any number of PCs you own and you can share the license with up to 5 family members in your household.

How will 1 password know if using Dropbox or I cloud. Do you suggest a preference.

You won't be able to use iCloud as Apple doesn't make CloudKit Sync available on Windows at the moment, which means you can only use Dropbox or Wi-Fi sync. We do provide detailed help guides to help you set this up, you can find them here:

    https://support.1password.com/sync-options/

Much easier if I can have someone to talk to. Almost afraid to purchase!

You don't have to be afraid to purchase, you don't have to buy anything for the first 30 days and in addition to that, we also provide a 30-day money back promise after you purchase, which means if you buy the license on the 30th day, you still have another 30 days to change your mind. We'll be here to help you in any way you need or if you want, you can also email us at support+windows@agilebits.com for further assistance.

PS: I've removed your phone number as this is a public support forum, do not share any of your personal information in the public or if we don't ask for it first.
