Unfortunately not all OTP implementations use the same standard. We support the "Google" standard, which is the standard most implementations (but not all) follow.
I tried to test their site to see if I could tell if they are indeed using the Google standard, but I can't sign up. Their drop down boxes for birthdate and country of residence don't seem to work in Safari on iOS.
Some sites will offer the option to see the secret in text form, vs scannable QR code. Do they offer that option?
Did you go to https://www.origin.com to open your account? It’s right at the top of the page. I believe that you only see the QR code. I need to double check later tonight.
@einsteinbqat: I wouldn't assume that Ben necessarily has an "Origin" account. I was surprised to discover that I did.
I'm not sure what's going on with the red swirl, but you've taken a screenshot of the download screen for the authenticator apps themselves. For the life of me, I couldn't imagine why there would be different TOTP secrets for different platforms, but it turns out the QR codes correspond to these URLs:
These are app store URLs, not TOTP URLs, which explains why 1Password doesn't have any use for them.
The thing is that it works with Google's Authenticator app! LOL
I suspect the reason it did was because you used the QR code on the next page, which is for your account's actual TOTP secret and the text version is included as well. Either should work. Cheers!
No problem - hopefully Brenty's information is helpful and that you're able to find the correct QR code for the TOTP! Of course, if you're still having trouble with that, just let us know.

I added that swirl. I need to check again.
