Just Installed Windows verson having issues

I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and love it. Here's my dilemma. I just recently purchased a PC laptop with Windows 10, I am a Mac user so this is new territory. I have setup and installed the software and here are my issues.
1.When I create a new username and password on a site the extension doesn't open up asking me to save it.
2.If I go to settings I see a vault feature when I click on it it's empty.
How do I setup 1Password to work correctly and the syncing to Dropbox isn't saving either.

    Thanks for writing in.

    You'll need to use 1Password 4 that has full support for local vaults and it is the latest version for it. You can find it from here: https://agilebits.com/downloads

    1Password 6 for Windows is currently only for 1Password.com users, it does not have full support for local vaults just yet, it can read them but it cannot modify them. That's why it didn't prompt to auto-save nor let you choose a default vault to save to.
