Forgot master papas word. Cannot unlock

I had old version of 1 password. Download new version on I phone then transferred data. Was using thumb print authentication. Then app locked me out and wanted a master password. I never put on in when I downloaded the app. Now I cannot get in because asking for a master password. I tried using password that I use on old app. Did not work. Need help

    Thanks for taking the time to write in.

    The very first thing you do when you create a 1Password vault is set the Master Password. Touch ID (fingerprint authentication) cannot be enabled without one. That said, if you cannot remember your Master Password, or what you think is the correct Master Password is not working, please see this guide:
