This 1Password Helper issue is very frustrating!

in 1Password 4 for Windows

Multiple reinstallations and multiple restarts later, I am STILL seeing this every time I try and get 1Password to help me create a password or fill a form in Opera 43.0 running on Windows 8.

Please help. And please don't just ask me to reinstall and restart. Again.

    Hi @navneetpotti,

    Thanks for writing in. We understand that this can be a very frustrating issue. In almost all of the cases it's caused by a third party software, mostly anti-malware software that's needlessly blocking the communication between 1Password and the 1Password browser extension.

    Please do the following and check if it helps:

    1. Uninstall your current version of 1Password 6 using the Control Panel (don't use third party uninstallers).
    2. Reboot.
    3. Go to the 1Password Downloads page and download the latest version of 1Password 6.
    4. Install it.

    Start using 1Password 6 again and check if the issue still occurs.
