Enable "Native Messaging Protocol" in Linux/Wine environment

Options

Hi,

I'm using 1Password in my Linux/Wine environment successful since quite a while, but I'm struggling with browser support since it's required to switch to "Native Messaging Protocol". On my Windows PC I'm able to switch, but in my Linux/Wine environment that option is greyed out. Are there any dependencies I need to install/enable in Wine / 1Password to enable that ?

Many Thanks in advance,
Robert

    Hi @iRobb,

    Thanks for writing in.

While we do not officially support Wine/Linux environments, Native Messaging in 1Password 4 uses a .NET compiled file, so you have to install .NET 4.6.2 (via WINE) in order to make it work.
