Forum software issues raised.
I am wondering about the response time for forum software issues. An old one is that I have no bookmarks currently but I have Bookmarks (1) indicated.
Another issue I have noticed is that I now have to log in to see all my posts. When logged out, I mostly don't see them. I started a discussion earlier, no response yet.

Requesting for a separate Site Feedback forum instead of going to Lounge?
There had been a number of Vanilla Forum issues and I and others have posted about them. Bookmarks() missing is a longstanding issue. Some have been corrected, like the first post Draft no longer needs discarding after being saved for later reposting.

The worst does appear to over wrt getting hit with for example a 120 second, 300 second delay, for double or triple entering a post, even accidental posts.
The Spam control worked.

There have been several multi-year-old threads (mostly all closed now) on the topic of the Bookmarks indicator showing non-zero, but clicking on it brings one to a page with none (or fewer) threads than the indicator is indicating. Apparently this is a bug in the forum software that has the indicator counting archived threads, but it isn't clear how one would actually go and find an archived thread. I mean, if I bookmarked it, it was probably something that I wanted to be able to refer back to. But, given that this has been going on now for years, one must conclude that it either is really hard to fix or not a priority. I'm guessing the latter, because I doubt that the forum vendor spent as many years building the entire forum software base than this has been a known issue.

There is nothing anyone outside of Vanilla can do about it. It's their forum software and it's frustrating for us forum users to put up with it. We can only highlight the issues to Agilebits to report back to Vanilla and hope, someday, that the potential issue or issues get resolved.
I guess it is a low priority for them. Agilebits is not interested in a "Bookmark" portion in 1Password. It used to be possible to make a 1Click Bookmark with 1Password (1Password 3/4/5?) but not lately. This might have been a useful feature with regard to Vanilla Forum Bookmark not working.
