How to install 7.3.712 - the current response is "1Password was unable to complete installation and
will roll back any changes.
I uninstalled v7.3.684 thinking the upgrade failure would be resolved with a clean installation. - I was overly optimistic.
Reading the forum suggests the problem my be McAfee, but I'm not sure what to do about McAfee being a problem. This is an HPE corporate computer over which I do not have complete control.

That was simple, I clicked "Update Now" on McAfee, now the version is 10.5.4.4304. Then double clicked 1PasswrodSetup-7.3.712.exe which immediately worked, allowing me to login.

Oh wow. That's great! I was literally just replying with some things for you to try, but got notified that there was a new comment here, so I refreshed. It sounds like the McAfee update helped -- perhaps even just by releasing a lock on some of 1Password's files -- so I'm glad. We're here if you need us. :)
