the only why is with dropbox, right?

stand alone versions are still updated, or sync will stop working if DropBox changes api?

Is something changed from 1Password 6?

    Hi @Kintaro81,

    That is correct: if you want to use a standalone vault and sync it between Windows, macOS, iOS, you will need to use Dropbox:

    This advanced syncing method is still supported, but I would recommend you to take a closer look at 1Password accounts, especially if you are planning to use 1Password on different devices with different platforms. It is really convenient. :)
