Great question. If you're using 1Password by yourself, then storing a copy of your Emergency Kit in a safe place with your account password written on it would allow your family to sign in to your 1Password account.
If you're using 1Password with your family, then another family organizer would be able to recover your account if they were able to access your email account, say on a device they have access to.
