Unable to copy generated passwords from Chrome extension

When I need to generate a new password for a website, I cannot either (a) autofill the password by clicking the 1password icon in the password field - "Use suggested password" is simply not clickable, or (b) copy the generated password from the Chrome extension using the copy button, as I get "Unable to copy the generated password" error. I am able to copy/paste the password using Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V, but this is mightily inconvenient.

    I'm sorry for missing your post but I'm happy to see that one of my colleagues has provided a resolution over email.

    Can you please try the following steps to see if they improve the situation for you as well:

    1. Lock the 1Password app (which also locks the extension).
    2. Unlock the 1Password app (which also unlocks the extension).

    That should get things working. If it doesn't, then please go through the steps below to re-sync your account:

    1. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
    2. Under General, disable "Integrate with 1Password app".
    3. Under Accounts & Vaults, sign out of your account.
    4. Sign back into your account.
    5. Go back to General, and re-enable "Integrate with 1Password app".
