There appears to be a bug in how 1Password renders itself in the Windows 11 taskbar. This bug was first reported in March of 2022:

It was reported again in October of 2022:

The October report offered a hint, which was to disable badges in the taskbar settings. I can confirm this does indeed fix the tiny/small icon issue in the Windows 11 taskbar. In order to fix the icon you must:

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Search for "badges"
  3. Disable badges for your taskbar
  4. Restart your computer

Sadly, like other users I have no steps to reproduce. 1Password just decided one day to go tiny. My guess is this happens on push notification (which I assume triggers badges?) after a Windows 11 upgrade?

Hi @joestump222, thanks for sharing your experience here 😄 it's definitely a strange one. I'm glad to hear that disabling badges and restarting your device got things working for you.

This is an issue we've still not been able to reproduce on our end, so if you do encounter it again, don't hesitate to reach back out and we'll be happy to investigate further.
