can login to chrome at 1password website but cannot login to chrome extension.

in chrome I can login at the chrome website but my password fails when I try to login on the chrome extension or at the top of my computer tray

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: mac os

    Hi @larrysleonard12, just to check, do you have both your Account Password and Secret Key? Could you clarify if you can sign into your account at 1Password.com? Can you check if all your data is present in your account at 1Password.com?

    If you have your Account Password and Secret Key, and all your data is present at 1Password.com, then we can walk you through resetting the 1Password desktop app and extension. Please let us know.

    The issue was resolved by updating from 1password 7 to 1password 8. Thank you
