Because Google is deleting accounts that are not used for a while, and I still need the account to be active, I need to access the password in an old .opsvault file. But I cannot import simply into my currently running 1Password app. How do I do it?

For those who might find this later, this is what I did:

    1. Create a new account on your mac
    2. Rename 1Password.app to something different (otherwise it'll mess up in the later setup)
    3. Install 1Password 7 https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/mac7/1Password-7.9.11.pkg
    4. Open 1Password 7 and the onboarding process will ask you to the old .opsvault in a very convoluted way.
    5. If you have the master password for the vault, you should be able to load up the passwords. Now you just need to manually copy or export it.

    Hope this helps someone!
