This has been a bit of an annoyance for me for awhile. It only happens on one website - my bank, which is https://www.firstcitizens.com. If I'm too quick to hit the 1Password button after loading the site, it grabs focus from 1Password and the master password gets typed into the user name field. Sometimes I don't notice this until after I've hit enter, meaning my password has now been transmitted to the website. It then treats it as an unknown user name which gets displayed back. Definitely not ideal.

I'm using the latest Safari. I'm not sure if it happens in any other browsers.

    Hi @Bob,

Sadly, this isn't something we can fix on our end because we're restricted by the browser APIs as to how to control the focus and there isn't any. We'll make sure the browser companies are aware that there is a need for this for extensions.

The good news is that we think we might have a better solution in the future but I don't have a timeframe on this yet, hopefully, it is not too long of a wait.
