I'm sorry that you're having trouble updating 1Password for Safari. Updates to apps from the Mac App store (like 1Password for Safari) are handled by Apple and you might need to reach out to Apple Support for help but I'll assist as much as possible.

As a first step, try completely removing and then reinstalling 1Password for Safari:

If that doesn't work then try these steps in this Apple article: If you can't download or update apps on your Mac - Apple Support (CA)
